Goodbye, For Now

Thank you to all of you who thought my blog was worth following!

This will be my last update on this blog.

I wish you all the best on your Second Life endeavors! I hope to see you around when I do log on to the game. Right now, I am living out my dreams in RL. After playing the game of Second Life in a way I “fantasized” my life to be, I’ve decided to unplug from the game and focus on making RL where I want it to be; It definitely was not going to happen with me sitting in front of a computer making an avatar in the image I image myself to be.

For those of you still struggling to find out who you are, you are not going to find it in pixels. Learn to love yourself and know that you are worth more than just the pretend life..so go out and make it happen!

Strolling In Harlem (Again)

Virtual Harlem in Second Life is one of the most educational and beautiful sims I have visited. It always gives me inspiration when I am styling or designing something in my free time.

Of the Darker Persuasion

Being an African American Avatar on SL can be hard at times, especially when it comes to choosing the right skin. For me, I have had a hard time finding a fair ethnic skin that was the right shade of brown; The shades would come out too dark or too light. When I started 2013 in SL, I decided to go on a skin hunt, and found Deesses Skins. I was throughly impressed by the different shades of ebony available at the store, and the option to purchase a limited skin, which helps to make my avatar more unique! My dark and lovely avatars, allow me to share with you another great option for high quality ethnic skins in Second Life!
