Pearls of Wisdom

Now that Miss Virtual World is over, I have learned some things about myself that I can now take with me throughout my virtual modeling journey.

I learn that for every no, there is a yes out there waiting to happen. Thank you to my sponsors and designers AlaFolie, EMO-Tions, Isomotions, and Ladies Who Lunch. I knew I was not a well-known, but you took a chance on me, and I thank you for that. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have learned that true family and friends are the keys to a happy life in SL and RL.

I have learned that it is ok to ask for help, despite of how proud you are.

I have learned that part of being in the limelight is being able to fight back with actions, and not words, to those who criticize you without even knowing you.

I have learned that a small act of kindness goes a long way.

I have learned that mistakes and setbacks are the buildings of a strong foundation, one that will hold you up for the next best thing.

Most importantly, I have learned that self-happiness is the most important thing to have. If you are not happy with yourself, nothing that anyone can give you or award you with will ever be enough.

I would like to show you one of the wonderful dresses and pearls given to me by Pixivor Allen of ALaFoli to blog. It’s so funny that I was trying to find this dress the other day, and found it in my recent items folder this morning. It is a very regal gown, full of rich textures – a must have for those who love formal dresses like me!
